Simple Strawberry Syrup Recipe Ingredients
- Fresh strawberries-Make sure they are washed, cut in half and the stems are removed. I do not suggest using frozen strawberries as they tend to have more water in them and less flavor.
- Honey-This is my go to sweetener in this recipe. Any kind of honey will work.
- Filtered water-This is essential.
See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

- Lime-If you want to make a strawberry margarita mocktail or cocktail, add a splash of lime juice.

Simple Steps
Recipe Tips
- Tip #1: Make sure not to over simmer the simple syrup! This will make for one thick syrup and it will taste somewhat burned.
- Tip #2: Be sure to allow the syrup to completely cool prior to putting it away. If you seal it while it is hot, that could cause it to spoil.
