- This sweet treat is naturally dairy free, gluten free, soy free, nut free, egg free, vegan and paleo.
- This creamy smoothie bowl is loaded with nutrients and flavor!

- This strawberry banana smoothie bowl recipe is naturally sweet and does not require any added sugar.
Simple Ingredients
- Coconut milk-I love the canned coconut milk from Trader Joe’s. It is super clean and only consists of coconut and water!
- Collagen powder-My go to protein powder. You can use whey or pea protein in place if you would like. I like collagen peptides because they are so good for my hair and skin!
- Bananas-This is what makes the smoothie nice and thick. It gives the creamy consistency to the bowl. If you like your smoothies cold, I suggest using a frozen banana.
- Strawberries-To give this dairy free smoothie that strawberry flavor!
See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.
Recipe Substitutions and Variations
- Favorite toppings– While there are endless options, my favorites are coconut flakes, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, fresh fruit, frozen fruit and cacao nibs.
- Nut butters-Peanut butter or almond butter are good sources of healthy fats. If you like a thick smoothie bowl, I definitely suggest adding some nut butters in. It gives this recipe a thick consistency and a creamy texture. If you like a crunchy texture, you can use crunchy peanut butter.
- Milk of choice-While I like dairy free milk like almond milk, oat milk, or cashew milk, you can also use regular milk.
- Greek yogurt-If you do not want to add protein powder and want a higher protein option, consider adding greek yogurt.

Tips For Making The Best Smoothies
- Tip #1: Make sure there is enough liquid. This will make for the perfect consistency and really help blend things up. Sometimes I like to add a splash of coconut water if I have it on hand.
- Tip #2: If you are meal prepping your smoothies or have leftover smoothie, always shake them up prior to drinking.
- Tip #3: Be sure to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure that everything gets mixed in.
