This paleo and dairy free buffalo chicken dip is perfect for all of your snacking needs! My recipe only calls four simple ingredients and only requires 10 minutes of hands on prepping time. This dairy free dip is great to eat with veggies as well as homemade gluten free buns!

What Do I Need To Make Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip?
- Chicken breasts- You can use chicken tenders, but make sure the tendons are pulled out.
- Buffalo sauce-This is my favorite pre-made buffalo sauce brand. You can use the store-bought or you can make your own. I talk about making my own buffalo sauce in this recipe.
- Mixed spices-The onion and garlic powder in combination with the paprika add the perfect kick to the recipe.
- Kite hill cream cheese-This acts as your cheese in this recipe. The Kite Hill Brand is by far my favorite. It is made out of almonds and super rich in taste. I have not tested this recipe with other dairy free cream cheese brands. I presume they would work but I am not sure if the taste would be quite the same.
How Do I Make This Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip?
- The thing I love about this recipe aside from the taste is how easy it is!
- First, place the chicken and buffalo sauce in the crockpot on low for 4 hours.
- Next, add the almond cream to a bowl as well as the chicken, remaining sauce and spices. Now, using a handheld mixer, mix the ingredients until the buffalo chicken dip forms. The handheld mixer is great for shredding chicken.
What Should I Serve This Paleo Buffalo Chicken With?
- We love eating it with veggies but also love serving it as little sliders. Check out my friend Jayde’s recipe here!
Can I Use Another Brand of Dairy Free Cream Cheese?
- Sure, but just know that they may not come out with the same taste. I have yet to test this recipe with other brands aside from Kite Hill. I personally do not like the tofu cream cheese brands as I think they have a funny taste. You can look up here stores near you that carry Kite Hill here. Where I live in Pittsburgh I can always find the cream cheese alternative at Whole Foods & Target.

Dairy Free Buffalo Chicken Dip (Paleo)
Equipment
- crockpot
- handheld mixer
- measuring spoons
Ingredients
- 8 ounces 1 container of Kite Hill cream cheese If you are not dairy free you can use regular cream cheese. I love this brand because it is made from almond cream and so delicious.
- 5 medium size Chicken breast roughly 7 ounces each, 2 pounds total
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- First, place the chicken and buffalo sauce in the crockpot on low for 4 hours.
- Next, dump the chicken and sauce into a large mixing bowl. Add the cream cheese and spices. Finally, using a handheld mixer mix for 30 seconds, and continuously move throughout the bowl. This will not only shred your chicken but mix the cream cheese in, to give it a creamy “cheesy” flavor. See the notes above about serving in on homemade gluten free buns.

This is yummy. And I found it much easier to prepare compared to the heavy, super fattening dairy version I used to make. Thanks, Allianna.
