A woman’s touch on a home is truly what makes it feel so special. I never understood that until I moved out of my parents house and craved being home so much, especially around the holidays. With Fall finally here, I am slowly transitioning our home to all things Fall. Check out my latest blog post, Getting Your Home Ready For Fall.
From making my favorite Fall Recipes to incorporating all of the warm Fall colors in our home, nothing makes me happier! Below are a few of my favorite ways to change gears and get into the Fall season:
- I love making my house smell like Fall by making a Fall Simmer Pot on my stovetop when we have company. They are a great non-toxic way to add fragrance to your home without any of the toxic chemicals that are in most candles and air fresheners.
- Nothing screams Fall more than Fall baking. I love baking all things pumpkin like my Gluten Free Pumpkin Bread and my Oat Flour Pumpkin Muffins.
- We love incorporating Fall drinks into the mix. My Pear Cocktail (Or mocktail) screams Fall. This is now our go to in our home.
- All things soup! I love making a big batch of soup and freezing it so I can enjoy it all winter long without all of the dishes. My Carrot and Butternut Squash Soup along with my Pumpkin Slow Cooker Soup are my favorite!
- Planting mums! This is a new one for me as we just moved into our new home this past Fall. I got ours from Costco and I was so impressed. I did the viral mums trick where I let them sit in a bucket of water before I planted them and it really seemed to help. We have them in ground near our front door and on the pillars on our front porch.
- Last, but not least, I love incorporating warmer colors of things in my home that are easy to change out during the Fall. I am obsessed with my new warmer tone Kitchen Runner and these cute little Kitchen Hand Towels. Swapping things out every season and saving them for the following year do not cost much but really freshen up your space.
