Ingredients

For the hot chocolate:

  • 2.5 cups coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup blackstrap molasses omit for whole30, unsulfured version
  • 2 scoops vital proteins collagen peptides
  • 1/4 cup carob powder If you are not doing AIP, you can use cocoa powder

For the coconut whip cream: optional

OPTIONAL: to garnish

  • cinnamon

Instructions

For the hot chocolate:

  • Place all hot chocolate ingredients on the stovetop and bring to a boil on medium high heat. Continuously whisk for 4 minutes so clumps do not form. Pour in two glasses.

For the whip cream:

  • Using a handheld blender, add the maple syrup and coconut cream to a bowl and mix until the cool whip forms. Add to the top of your hot chocolate. I like to sprinkle a little bit of cinnamon on top too. ENJOY!
