Matcha Frosting

  • 1 cup Lard OR palm shortening I prefer lard because it contains healthy fats!
  • 3/4 cup Raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup Arrowroot powder or tapioca flour
  • 2 tablespoons Coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoons Matcha you can add more if you want a darker color green


  • Place all ingredients in a large bowl, then with a hand mixer, whisk together until frosting forms. Be sure the cake is chilled when you apply. ENJOY!
